The biography of Steve Jobs has been a real inspiration to me recently. Put this piece together in watercolor a few weeks ago.

I absolutely love Fiona Apple, but at the same time am absolutely terrified of her. Regardless of that, her new album “The Idler Wheel…” is great. Go pick it up! Listening to the new album inspired me to draw his Mucha inspired piece. Hope you enjoy! Watercolor on paper 9×12

Acrylic on 16×20 canvas Recently did this portrait of the great F. Scott Fitzgerald. The whole thing came together extremely quickly. One of them rare occurrences where you run into no obstacles. Fitzgerald is one of my favorite authors, and I’m toying with the idea of doing a series of American authors.

Here’s a little shadow box I did today. Wanted to do something different. The box is a little cigar box that I’ve been holding onto with the hopes of eventually doing something with. Pretty neat, right?

Here is a little commissioned piece I did for my friends over at So Fetch Clothing. No quite sure what they are doing with it yet. I’ve known Avrom (Owner) for a while now, he asked if I could put that piece together for him quickly, so without questions I drew what he asked and sent it over. Haha.

I wanted to play around with color and draw some wide eyes, so I did this little self-portrait. It was pretty fun. Hope you enjoy! Here is an updated eye detail:

RAW:present MENAGERIE was a lot of fun! I got to meet Questlove’s mom! How crazy?! Of the nine portraits I had done for the event she personally knew 5 of the subjects!
